beBhakti Yoga is Beacon’s new yoga center where the classes focus on movement as a form of meditation.

You will gather a spiritual toolbox representing many limbs of yogic philosophy:
  • asana – poses
  • pranayama – breath work
  • mantras – chanting
  • meditation
  • svadhyaya – self-reflection

All class cards and specials have expiration dates. Class cards cannot be suspended or extended. Card holders may use cards to treat a friend or family member if accompanied by the card holder. Once registered, the class will automatically be deducted from the card whether or not you attend class, unless you early cancel through Mind-Body (website). Please check your emails and Mind-Body for class cancelations.

FAQ

How do I sign up for class?
Please arrive 10 minutes early for your class so you may settle in. We also recommend signing up on line through mind-body, which can be accessed through our website. All class cards and packages are available online.
What should I bring?
Please come with soft moveable clothes and a bottle of water. We have mats available to rent if you do not own your own. Come with an open mind and no expectations.

Bhakti Align & Flow

Bhakti Align & Flow is for those who want to elevate themselves physically and mentally. The focus of this class is how to blend alignment, fluidity, breath work and strength. Modifications are offered so the class can be aligned for you. It is an Open level class that is also great for beginners. Elements of beBhakti’s toolbox are incorporated.

Bhakti Basics

Bhakti Basics is a great way to continue being a student. Poses are broken down with modifications and props are used in unique ways to deepen your practice.
Beginner

Bhakti Beans (2 yrs+)

Bhakti Beans (2yrs+) is a safe space to drop off your toddler while you  practice in the adjoining studio. (A bit of Bhakti) This class is about Leela, which means play in Sanskrit. Your child learns patience, compassion, love and devotion: essential qualities of Bhakti yoga. Hindu children’s stories, playful yoga poses and chanting are part of this class.

Bhakti Ma

Bhakti Ma includes your baby (ages 8 weeks-walking) BUT is focused on MAMA! Mats are placed around the periphery of the room with the babies in the middle. Mama will have one eye on baby and the other on the yogic 3rd eye.

Bhakti Meditation

Inhale your way to a quieter mind, exhale into a lighter space. This class focuses on pranayama and meditation, practices that are great tools to detox the mind of clutter, reduce stress and to relieve anxiety. Think of it as spring-cleaning for the mind and body.

Bhakti Bugs (5+ yrs)

Bhakti Bugs (5+ Year Olds) is a drop off kids class. Through mindfulness and playful yoga poses, your child learns patience and compassion.

Bhakti Gentle is designed for those who want to experience the benefits of yoga without feeling as much effort or strain on the body. The focus is on initiating movement from breath, creating stronger bone density and quieting the mind.

Bhakti Bump welcomes women at all stages of pregnancy, and all levels of yoga experience. This is a class that light-heartedly blends yoga traditions to soothe the body and mind while maintaining and building strength for childbirth and beyond!

Take the night to rest after a long week. We will use blocks, blankets and more goodies to get you in a comfortable place for your mind to quiet. Restorative yoga harnesses energy without using energy to rejuvenate the body.
