YOGA NIDRA
with Dan Guerra
Yoga Nidra is a powerful, evidence-based practice that transforms the negative effects of stress on our bodies and minds. It is a process of learning how to relax consciously through the different layers of our bodies, minds & emotions. Yoga Nidra addresses muscular, emotional, psychological, and subtler tensions that get accumulated throughout our lives. The regular practice of Yoga Nidra has addressed many physiological problems affected by these tensions including hypertension, chronic pain, diabetes, migraines, asthma, ulcers, digestive disorders, and skin diseases. The practice can also help us work through mental tensions brought on by stress, worry, and self-doubt. For those with healthier bodies, Yoga Nidra functions to increase well-being and help us better achieve our life goals through visioning and intention-setting (Sankalpa).
